While charging via USB the touchscreen behaves erratically to the point where the phone is completely un usable and can't even be unlocked. It works just fine though while charging from the mains.
Is this the same for everyone or is it just mine that has this behavior?
Have already tried reinstalling all software etc to fix it.

so this is when you have your cable plugged in your pc right ??
did you see my pic,,its the same..
so i went to the service centre for the same..
and then with their pc the arc worked flawlessly.. and i was like what :smileyplain::smileyconfused:
i connected my arc with my usb cable as well as i tried to connect with their usb cable but it worked with no faults..
then i went to my friend's house..connected the phone and voila..it worked flawlessly again..
so when i came back home , connected it to my pc and the problem reappeared..
so basically this means there was some problem in my pc and i think its there in yours too..
so i just avoided this issue..
so your solution - just try to connect your phone with a differnt pc..it will work flawlessly
i'm 100% sure..
i got the same issue

Yes that was a pic while connect to pc, not connected to pc works perfectly.
At least it's good to know it's not a direct fault with the phone itself, and more related to the pc it's connected with.
Thanks for the help.
hmm mark the thread as answered..and please check it with a different pc and post it here
