phone not booting

yesterday,i was updating the software of my phone,it was nearly complete but due to a power cut in our area,the internet connection was cut and the update was interupted.from that time,i am trying to reboot my phone but it just shows 'SONY' for a few seconds and it fades away.i even tried connecting it to my pc to repair the phone link but my phone is not connecting to the pc.please help fast and........................... THANK YOU in advance

re-start the whole update process all over that should solve the issue.
