IF they are simply skipping us (meaning Xperia T users, not just Xperia Z users) straight from 4.1 to 4.3 then that's fine with me, and I also appreciate on the site where it says "We've listened to you". Hopefully that isn't just talk, and they actually have. If it takes Sony 3/4 weeks to upgrade the T to Android 4.3 then I'd be more than happy, and stop moaning at the ridiculous lack of support for a phone which was launched as the flagship ~9 months ago.
Why do Sony prioritise the Z over the T, with regards to upgrading Android? Nobody is going to say "Hmmm, well I was going for the Xperia Z, but as the Xperia T has Android 4.3 as well, I'll go for that." 80-90% of people don't know what the latest version of Android is, or care, so it's not a valid marketing decision. The valid marketing decision would be to please 99% of Xperia Z owners at the same time as pleasing the remaining 10-20% of Xperia T owners. Please put this to someone who makes decisions, I can't stand the thought of this going to people who can only say "Turn it off and on again", "try upgrading to the latest firmware again... that might work I suppose...", or "Your phone seems to be broken, you need to send it to Sony, or if it's new, the seller. You had al of this information, so you don't really need to ask here."
Come on Sony, there is no reason to not update the Xperia T and Z at the same time. Both far outperform the hardware requirements, both rely on the silicon architecture of the same manufacturers. Please?
