Bravia, 18 months old, serious issue with picture

Half of the screen is showing a picture of very poor quality. The other half is showing grey and white vertical bars. Any suggestions, please?

This appears to be a hardware fault im afraid.  You will need to contact either Sony Support or an authorised Sony repair centre.  See HERE
