KDL-46HX750 selected program not available (DVB-C)
The TV has a built-in analog and DVB-C/T (no DVB-S!) receiver. A channel name (DVB-C) will be displayed with the following error message: «Selected program not available».
I tried the following and it did not help:
- Watching TV trough another DVB-C receiver via HDMI works perfectly
- channels are not encrypted (FreeView)
- Most current firmware PKG2.120EUA-0002 is installed, therefore no manual update possible
- EGP works fine
- signal quality 100
- signal strength 95
- removed power connection an restarted TV
- factory settings restored
- digital channel search new initialized (channel are found and listed)
- TV finds internet connection
My Sony TV worked perfectly for about 4 years now. Currently I’m despaired and I tried several times the digital channel search. At least I can watch TV trough the extern DVB-C receiver. As I can display the channel names and an update EPG I assume, that the TV gets some data.
Does anyone have the same problem and has a tip how to solve this issue?

@Anonymous
No difference so far. I even chanced the coaxial cable without any effect.
Once i managed to receive one channel, the others stayed black. After a new channel search I've got same problem as before.
I start looking for a new tv. But this time it won't be a Sony. 😞
