Media Remote on Android- button text in Japanese

Hi,

Just installed the media remote on my wife's HTC Desire Android phone. All the text is in English (eg settings menu etc.) apart from that on the button icons within the remote control screens- this is all in Japanese! Anyone got any ideas how to get it to English? Tried reinstalling and can't find any settings to set the language.

where on earth did you download it from?, the remote app on my desire hd is fine, all in english, it was downloaded from Market.

Yep, I downloaded it from the market on the phone.

yeah, thats odd,

if its any consolation i cant seem to get the keyboard to work at the moment!, but theres certainly nothing japanese about it.
