Hi all!
We recently bought a Sony Bravia 32 Inch KDL-32WD603 model and we are thrilled apart from one thing. We watch a lot of DVDs and we can't seem to disable the on-screen info that pops up at the top of the screen like a banner whenever we pause a DVD or there is a layer change. It is really annoying us!
It is the black banner and in white it says 'HDMI 1 / ARC' and 'Stereo Dolby Digital 1080p' and the time. It is the same as the one that displays when you change channels on the digital TV set-up.
It is a Sony DVD player (DVP-SR760H) too, but didn't do this on our old television.
Any advice on how to turn this off would be very welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Sarah
Hi there
On an Android based TV you can disable the info banner perminantly. Unfortunately your TV is not Android based. I have had a look in the manuals for both your TV and DVD player and I cannot find any settings that will disable this. Unfortuately it looks like you need to get use to.
Cheers
