Powerline adapter connection affecting media view ?

I've connected my computer to the Sony Bravia TV successfully and been able to view videos & photos. However, today when I went to view the same photos I received the message "There are no items to display".

Strangely I can still play videos but cannot see any photos.

The only difference I can think of betwen now and previously when I was able to view photos on the TV is that before I had a direct wired LAN connection between my Computer and TV. Now, however I have changed to use Powerline adapters (D-Link).

Would this be a reason I am no longer able to view photos ?

I guess the problem not related to powerline adapter. because you can still playing videos

You may try to reset your TV to factory default  (under the menu). Sometimes this help . All channels, picture , and sound setting  will back to out of the box
