rear tv speakers

Hi everyone,

I have an elderly friend who has just bought a  KDL 37EX 401 lcd tv.

What I need to know is whether it is possible to attach two speakers to the set and run them to the back of the room so that she can hear the tv neaxt to her chair rather than have to have the volume up and disturbing the neighbours. Would they have to be active, or use the tv amp?

Hi - yes you'd most likely need some kind of active set - use the headphone socket or phono out.
