I'd love to be able to set up Skype on my Sony Bravia KDL 46 HX823.
BUT, I can't find a webcam that will work with the TV.
There is of course the Sony one (CMU-BR100), but it is large, ugly and expensive.
I'd prefer something much smaller and more webcam-ish in design.
Has anyone had success finding a simple small little camera that will do the job?

Hi,
this has been tackled a few times now and unfortunately the only camera for the job IS the CMU-BR100.
I also have a KDL 46 hx823 (lovely TV!) I was lucky and found that a toshiba webcam PX1342E I had works fine as a microphone and it allows me to setup skype and sign in and use skype, no camera for video calls though.
I am quite dissapointed to find the Sony HD eye toy from the Move bundle for PS3 doesnt work, as camera or microphone, I have 2 of these cameras and assumed that because it was a SONY HD camera made in last few years it would work, it is a good quality camera and would be great for skype IMO... strange that a toshiba laptop webcam half works and no support for Sony PS3 camera at all.
Is there any plans to support this camera on Bravia TVs?

Hi there
You cant. Microsoft has discontinued Skype on all TV platforms. See:
