TV remote eats battery
My RM-ED044 eats battry!
How come?
Earlier it could take years between changes, now the battries last only 3 days!
What can that depend on?
Can anything be done except removing batteries when the TV is not used?

Hi there
A couple of things to check.
- Are you using fresh batteries or old ones that may have been found at the bottom of a draw somewhere?
- Closly inspect the remote control buttons to ensure that none of the buttons are stuck down (a stuck button may be using the batteries to "try" to send signals)
Cheers
