YouTube rented films not in Bravia playlist

I would like to be able to watch rented YouTube films on my Bravia TV.  I can successfully log into my YouTube account with the Bravia and can see and watch free films in the Account > Playlist (with the playlist previously being set up from my laptop).

But if I rent a film on YouTube and add it to my Playlist using the laptop I can't see it in the Bravia Account > Playlist, even though it's visble in the Playlist as seen from my laptop.  Ditto if I add a rented fil to Favourites - it can'y be seen on the Bravia.  It seems that purchased films are treated differently to free ones - which seems strange.

There must be a reason for this and I would be grateful if someone could tell me what it is and hopefully a workaround.

Many thanks
