Not sure if this is the right area to post this, but hoping someone can help!
I have a Vaio Desktop PC (RCV-Z322) which came with Windows XP and various other items of software preinstalled - including something called Vaio Media (which included media music server).
My PC went into meltdown this time last year and had to be rebuilt, ultimately with Windows 7, which of course meant that I lost all the original software. (It has also had a new, larger, additional hard drive and more memory installed since purchase.)
I have just purchased Bravia Internet Ready TV which comes with integrated wireles. What I am looking to do is to stream media (pics and music particularly) wirelessly to the television (TV recognises the PC and I can get all the internet widgets etc on the TV screen). I believe that if I had a new Vaio's with media plus already installed, this would relatively easy to do.
If an earlier version of Media Plus was preinstalled, it it possible to obtain a new version to install on my W7 machine, and, would this work as described above?
(Am posting this here as there doesn't seem anywhere to email my queries to Sony direct, all there appears to be is an expensive phone number to call!!)
