Photo dates

Connecting my DSC-T1 to the VP, the date of the photo files transferred is the date of when they where transferred instead the date of when they were taken.

This is not very helpfull when you want to organize your photo album. Is it possible setup the date of the photo instead the transfer date. Thanks.

I believe this is the least worry of a VP owner "!
But

the date of the photo files transferred is the date of when they where transferred instead the date of when they were taken.

The date of transfer , is the date of transfer, not the date of photo taken ! If it was the date of photo taken, it wouldn't be the date of transfer any more!

im not sure how you can do that marce...
but what diablo is trying to say is that the vp is programmed to transfer only so the date appearing is supposed to be the date of transfer only...you get my point?

is there no way of putting the photos into the pc directly or transfer them on the vp on the same date?

just suggesting...

yeah but that doesnt mean that the vp is faulty or something.

sony said from the beggining that it would not be compatible with some cameras[actually there was a list of supported models in the sone website for vp and guess what;they were all cybershots!]

I agree with you Madarbwot, but it was a bad decision from Sony. Not everyone have Cybershots, the majority has other digital cameras... i don't understand this decision

I think Sony might like to sell some more Cybershots supposedly I believe! That's why they made their products compatible with their other products! (Nearly, not really  )
