Hello. I made the same thread on the US forum, hoping to get a solution, but i was adviced to ask the question on the UK forum, since my laptop is produced there. ( http://community.sony.com/t5/VAIO-Software-Other-Operating/Problem-updating-drivers-on-my-VAIO-Pro-1... )
So here it comes:
Hello.
I have a problems updating my grapchis graphics drivers on my Vaio pro 13''. I am not sure what model my computer has, because it says Model number: SVP132A1CM in the bottom of my computer, but VAIO care says model number: SVP1321C5E ?
I experience bad performance when i try to play some small games (browser games) and even when i watch YouTube, and i think its because of old grapchis drivers. I am sure that my computer has a Intel HD Graphics 4400. I've tried to run Intel Driver Update Utility and it says the following:
Product Detected: Intel® HD Graphics 4400
Current Driver Installed 10.18.10.3304
Newer Driver Available:
15.33.18.64.3496 (10.18.10.3496)
When i download and run it, the installer says that its not compatible for my system
Does anyone know what to do here, because im kind of lost, and its pretty frustrating 😞
I have tried to install the driver manually, but with no luck.
Hi BoBundesen,
The correct Product Name is SVP1321C5E. There is an updated Intel Graphics driver (10.18.10.3316) under Windows 8 downloads. Not as up to date as the one listed by Intel but newer than the one currently installed:

…and what appears to be a patch under Windows 8.1.

I haven’t tried this but have been told that in order to successfully install the drivers provided by Intel you first need to remove the drivers provided by Sony and then reboot before installing. I have no idea whether this works.
