I believe this is the NR21Z/S model, about 2 yrs old

Anyway -

I decided to try and update Win Vista to 7 as an experiment and to play with a 64 bit os

It seemed to go fine until I installed a game and found that i only had the default graphics drivers so I looked for nvidia 8400M 64bit Win 7 drivers - since that is the graphics card.. nvidia drivers didn't load and so I tried the Sony site and couldn't find any,.

So 2 questions,

1) do these drivers exist and where are they (VGN-NR21Z, 64bit win 7 graphics)? a link would be nice

2) if they don't exist can I get a replacement setup disk (back to vista) as my original backups have had a small accident. ( think small daughter type accident). The hidden resource partition should still exist.

I honestly do not know if it will work for you but it is probably worth trying to install the 64-bit Windows 7 nVidia driver released for the VGN-AW21Z. I know the AW21Z has the 9300M GT nVidia graphics but it may install OK.
