I spent more than 2000 euro on a VAIO VPCF13C5E just to find out that it is not possible to disable the stupid hyperthreading because the bios does not allow it.
I have called the Italian support but just spoke with incompetent people that told me to turn off 4 cores from windows which is a nonsense since the silly windows does not discern between logical cores and physical cores.
I have purchased the laptop to run some computer intensive computations but now I really regret it. Sometimes hyperthreading can be a curse.
Sony, please add the option to the bios! Please think also to the customers that use your expensive laptops for their work!
