I have a Sony Vaio VPCEB1EOE running Windows 7. When I wanted to send a picture to a friend, I went to the My Pictures library to the appropriate folder and found not my picture but a vcm_s_kf thumbnail image. I discovered that this had happened in many of my photo folders.
Strangely, when I "search" for the photo's JPG number, I do get to the actual photos and they are shown to be in the folders I have already been to but which only contained the vcm_s_kf files.
Please, please, please can somebody help as this is driving me insane.
I have done some internet searches and the vcm seems to be a Vaio Content Manager but it doesn't seem to be set on my machine.
I could really use some advice.
