Headphones iOS app - Speak to chat setting not persisting

This bug occurs with v9.5.1 for iOS 16.5 but has existed for a significant time.

 

It occurs for WH-1000XM4 and WH-1000XM5 devices.

 

When the Speak-to-chat feature is disabled, the app periodically (I suspect on iOS app and/or firmware updates?) resets the setting to re-enable Speak-to-chat.

 

This is extremely annoying.

Try resetting the Headphones Connect app settings

Also make sure both headphones are running the latest software version. Version 2.5.0 for the XM4 & 1.1.3 for the XM5

Also check if this happens only on iOS or also on other devices.
