Sony NWZ ZX1 Won't power off - drains battery

My new walkman powers itself back on as soon as I power it down and then runs down the battery. . . Very frustrated. Please help!

Now after leaving it to charge all night, it won't power on at all. If I can't get any help will take back to the shop tonight.

Sorry that no one has replied to your posts.  Did you manage to take it back to the shops for an exchange (as it may be faulty).  If not, are you still experiencing problems with it?
