Has anyone looked at which case if any, they would get for the S?
Looks like Sony is only doing the one, black leather (not really my colour ). I've had a quick look around and found quite a few different makes, any thoughts?
This site has quite a few:

Just updating for info.
For those that have already purchased a Sony cover case stand SGPCV1 pre end of October 2011. Sony have recalled these as the round hole has been incorrectly specified, resulting in a shadow appearing at the corners of photos taken. Here's the link to Sony's recall notice

This is the main reason why Sony branded Tablet S cases have been so difficult of late to find.
I notified John Lewis of this recall at the end of October. They offered me a cash refund as it was a design fault but I declined, as it would have left me with no protection for my tablet.
The good news is that a revised designed cover that has an elongated cut out was made available last week and is now in stock, enabling a straight swap.
Sony recall notice offers a swap until April 30 2012
Happy New Year to you all!
I've just ordered the Sony case from John Lewis, in the sale at just under £40 at the moment, http://www.johnlewis.com/231396237/Product.aspx?SearchTerm=RecentlyViewedList
I splashed out £45 on the Tuff Luv, black leather case from Amazon.

Its quite an attractive sturdy case (in my opinion) and the description on the website is accurate. It doesn't require any velcro attachments like some others mentioned here. The only downside is that the signal for the remote is blocked when in the case. I also suspect the GPS function will be inhibited but I haven't tested this. All other functions operate as normal with buttons etc easily accessible. I only use the case when leaving the house as the tablet normally sits in its cradle which obviously could not accommodate the case. Tommy.
I bought this one for my tablet http://tinyurl.com/8yodtyc
Use only when I leave the house and works great
I like Rich912 and PratishK have the Navitech case - thanks to Rich's post the remote works fine once you extend the hole as mentioned in his post earlier in the thread - that's 15mm to the right when viewed from the front as the tablet would be in it.
Got no complaints - no velcro and take it out to place in the dock at night for charging - would recommend and best of all it's not very expensive but certainly looks the part

bought this guardian case off ebay £23.99, really impressed with it

Thanks for pointing this out - I've just ordered the same one (albeit through amazon - never thought of checking ebay).
There's quite a wide selection available on Amazon now:
One thing that surprised me is how poorly the tablet was supported in shops. First day I got to go to nearest city (Hereford) not one shop (Carphone Warehouse/PC World/Argos) had any accessories for it. The Sony Centre had one rediculously expensive yet very basic leather thing for it, and no docking stations! [/rant]
Hi All, new S Tab owner here...looking for a case. Interested in the Tuff-Luv and Navitech cases mentioned in this thread.
I notice the Tuff-Luv claims to put the tablet in sleep mode when the case cover is closed, and wake it up when opened.
Is this true of all cases hat cover the screen? (I'm assuming so, as I'm not sure how it would be case specific)
Thanks!
