I purchased a Sony Xperia S Tablet, and was told that I would be able to charge the tablet through the USB cable when plugged into a Laptop/PC, however went back to the store, and was told that I would have to wait until the new update of Android becomes available, however, again this was not the case, and then found out that the store had closed down, so I just wanted to know what the situation is in charging the tablet with the USB Cable plugged into my laptop. I have checked your manual and there is no information in there, however it does give information on how long it would take to charge without the AC Adaptor (Which i presume would mean with a USB only).
Thank you in advanced for any help possible. PS I have tried changing charger settings even resulted back to default settings, however nothing has worked.
