I bought an XA2 from Tesco had my previous number transferred to it from Virgin

I'm glad to hear that it seems to be working fine for you, however if you should run into any unexpected behaviour, you will need to get in touch with either Tesco or Virgin, as we as the device manufacturer does not have anything to do with having a number ported over from one operator to another, as this is only done by the operator.
