Question about photos contacts

How can I make a setting that a photo appears from the contact that calls me?

Hi @Zoetermeer, Let me see if I can be of any help here! 

You are indeed able to add a photo to a contact in order to personalize the contact a bit more. The image you choose will also show up on your screen if said contact were to call you. 

In order to add a photo to an existing contact, Find and open the contacts app > Choose the contact that you want to add a picture to > Tap the Pen icon in the top right corner > Tap the camera icon next to the profile.

Yes, I know this procedure but it doesn't work anymore. Past week there has been an update to android 9 or that the reason is, I don't know
