Sony Xperia XA odd sound

I have a flip case on my Xperia and every time I fold the front cover back around my phone (at the point where the camera is covered) a sound comes from the phone and it happens no matter which app I'm in, even when I unlock my phone it plays immediately

do you have credit cards in your cover and is NFC turned on?? if so its your phone trying to read the credit cards or anything other card with a smart chip thing in it.
