Can you please tell me if 'Apple MD827ZM/A In-the-ear Headset' is compatible with Xperia SL?

Sony Xperia SP uses the 3.5mm CTIA standard. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that a headset from another manufacturer will be 100% compatible with the phone. If the headset follows the CTIA standard you will be able to hear the music but if the headset have play/pause buttons these might not work correctly.

Turn the volume fully off on headphones before you plug it in. Well it worked for me
