When trying to install something from Play store i receive error dialog saying downloading failed due to error 941. This happens every time and only on first try, clicking ok on error dialog and reclicking install everything goes smooth.

In this case there is not much left that I can advise other than to speak with your local Xperia Care team regarding having an assessment arranged.

Thanks for Your reply, albeit i am quite frankly not willing to go through the trouble of taking the phone in for assessment, at least not before i am more confident that the problem is due to hardware/sonys software.

I will try to run some diagnostics of my own first - after all the apps get downloaded on second try every time. Seems likely to be some handshaking problem between store and the phone.

Update follows if i can figure something out.

Hi, same thing happens to me nearly every time I try to download from play store. Had my phone for about a week now and already got used to clicking the retry button. Coming from Xperia SP there are a lot less bugs with the Z1C, trust me....

Same happens to me, it's a Sony software issue I reckon, one of many, I will muddle through till I get a new phone, not a Sony phone next time though.
