When connecting with usb cable - to remove pictures - not all of my pictures load however are all available in my album when I check on my phone?

Anybody know why?

WIll suggest you to check the other directory like Whatsapp/VIber skype and etc. SOmetimes people send you photo's it will store at the seperate folder under the specific app.

The DCIM folder is for photo taken from camera, but album will show all.

If you want to clear the album with nothing shown, make sure you check on other directory first.

Thanks, I am specifically looking for the pictures that I've taken, not ones I've received.

Any idea where they could be?

If you refer to the taken picture from camera, it can also be stored on your SD card.

Thats the path I'm following - but only 50 images load - my camera album info shows 450 + images.

open one of the photo and check the details ( top right corner).  you can see the path of the image file.
