What exactly does turning on Hearing Aid Compatability do..??

Is it some form of coupleing, changes to the audio profile, or something else..???

Yes....I found that writeup before I posted.

All it says is that a specific RF Interference level & RF Coupling Level has been achieved.

I would like to know what engaging the Hearing Aid Compatability Function actually does..!!

Is there more to it than turning on an icon...???

Does it activate an RF Coupling Coil, or perhaps drop the RF Output power..???
