how much to remove scratches off sony xperia z1

My little brother had dropped my phone and the screen has a very noticeable scratch covering 2/3 of the screen. Does anybody know how much to remove the scratch from shops or something or any screen protector that can hide the scratch
Any advice is appreciated

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

It all depends on how deep this scratch is. Sometimes you can hide a scratch by applying a screen protector and if it really minor you can polish it away just using a cloth.

Is there a screen protector that hides scratches?

You can apply a glass screen protector which may hide the scratch but it is possible that the anti shatter film will be removed if you ever pull off the glass screen protector for whatever reason. Removing the anti shatter film voids your warranty but it would also remove the scratches. However, it does remove the Sony logo as well. Witrigs sells a replacement anti shatter film with the Sony logo but it will never be like the original due to how the original is most likely heat bonded at the factory and is considered a part of the screen.

If you are looking for a good quality glass screen protector I recommend the one at ultimate shield. It is a UK based website that has very good prices and free worldwide shipping. What I liked about their glass screen protector is that it didn't have cutouts for the proximity sensor and front camera because it was thin enough to not require them.

Is the anti shatter film the screen protector that was already on it when purchased? I removed it after a month as mt screen was very unresponsive when it was on

Yes it is. It is a factory installed film to prevent glass from cutting your hand and being strewn about. However, it doesn't have scratch resistant properties so it scratches very easily. Since you removed it there should be no problem with installing and possibly future removal of a glass screen protector.
