Today we’re launching a pilot of our upcoming service myXperia.

myXperia is a remote security service which helps you locate and protect your Xperia phone if it gets lost.

The purpose of this thread is for you users to be able to share your thoughts and experience with the service so please feel free to post feedback below.

This service will roll out gradually to selected devices beginning with Xperia acro S.

*Added support for Xperia S, Xperia V.

*Depending on software customization.

Hi,

I have the new version of myXperia 0.0.A.0.37 available to download (3.2MB). But when I try to download it I only get the error message "Det gick inte att hämta" that is, that it wasn´t able to download. But no more information about what seems to be the problem. Were to look and what to do?

Hello again,

Yesterday there came an updated version of myXperia but this time a smaller size 2.9 MB and this was installed perfect as it seems. But now I can´t find the installation anywhere in my phone? There is no shortcut or icon or path to anything named myXperia.

So I have the same last question but under other circumstanses... Were to look and what to do?

I'm not sure if the 2011 Xperia's will be included later on in this service but still the phone needs to be activated before you loose it in order for you to be able to search for it using my Xperia..

this app should be installed in the internal phone storage - on a separate partition which can`t be deleted without an email verification.

just want to say what a beautiful app. Just what i have been wanting.

I used to use Mylookout before but switched very fast to myXperia.

Everything works perfectly when i tested it.

But it misses some functionality.

1. Oversteer the phone so that MyXperia can push data even if the LTE/WCDMA/GPS antenna is turned off as soon i press the "locate" button on the web. if that is possible, MyXperia can also turn on the GPS antenna for precision.

2. If not some other solution so when i press the "locate button it will always find my phone even if i have turned off everything.

I have one improvement suggestion. The other phone manufactures password protected settings for this kind of services to protect against unauhtorized ussage of the phone (turn of the tracking service before the user had the time to remote lock the phone).

Why isn't this feature already available?
