Today we’re launching a pilot of our upcoming service myXperia.

myXperia is a remote security service which helps you locate and protect your Xperia phone if it gets lost.

The purpose of this thread is for you users to be able to share your thoughts and experience with the service so please feel free to post feedback below.

This service will roll out gradually to selected devices beginning with Xperia acro S.

*Added support for Xperia S, Xperia V.

*Depending on software customization.

Hi Sony Xperia.

I've got a Xperie V with firmware 91.A.1.140 I've haven't got the My Xperia app. I called your cutsomer service in late July in Norway and they just said this was being rolled out. But i live i n Norway with a norwegian bought Xperia and should have gotten this app months ago. No rooting. Resat the phone and installed the 4.1.2 android using Sony PC Companion, but no help.

My xperia service is so cool..

If you are unlucky, the person who has found your device turns it off, inactivates my Xperia or disables any necessary service, my Xperia will not be able to control your device.

Why don't Sony put a password protection for Activating/Deactivating that feature.. so that it avoids above scene..

And if a mobile stolen & he changes the Sim card, then also My xperia can locate the mobile??

Apenas lo lei pense:" es genial!" complete todos los pasos, y procedi a mirar mi correo para probarlo desde alli, pero nada, no me ha ubicado el movil como dice hacerlo, y la alarma la solicite incluso dos veces y vino a sonar cuando ya habia apagado el equipo....

Hi, Am an xperia Z user. I came here to log in for the secure the phone page, but to my surprise, in the "change country" list India is not listed. Can you add India as it is one of your largest markets on the planet currently(i guess at no. 2), or is it enough to be connected by google maps for locating the phone, as per your current locate feature?

So, what Nordic configurations of the Xperia V are supported at the moment? I am running a crisp, clean, unmodified LT25i with Android 4.1.2 Build 9.1.A.1.140 which is the latest made availiable to Telia customers.

The Nordic launch has been rolling for quite some time now. What does the time table look like?

Nice so far - but mobile internet sucks the battery over time

Nice addiotion would be like other apps , adding his own number and send SMS to activate mobile internet, so battery will go longer and the chance to find is higher than if you have to alltime mobile internet!
