phone update problem

Hi, 

im facing issues with Data Netowrk on my Xperia S (LT26i). There were no signals & i cant download the configuration settings on my phone provided by the service provider. 

when i formated my phone, im unable to update/download any app on my phone. 

please advise help to counter the issue.

settings > more > mobile networks > access point names > menu > add New > enter the info provided by your network > menu > save

Hi,
I have tried to repair my ph with pc companion but of no use. I even tried to define the APN but still theres still no network
The sim is working fine in other phones

Just get a brand new MICRO SIM card

I tried to use othee sim in my phone the problem remains the same

Have you ever been able to use data on the Xperia S? was the phone locked to another carrier/network?

I was using it perfectly with different networks.
The problem started a few days before
