My xperia z2 won't turn off wifi after going to sleep(standby mode). Yes I turned on stamina or settings>wifi> 3 dots> advance> keep wifi on during sleep> Never (increase data usage).. But it did not turn off wifi during sleep. It DOES turn off wifi during sleep but that will take about 10 minutes after it goes to sleep. See sony, it's too long I want it to turn off wifi straight away as it screens off not 10, 15 minutes after That!!!

WHAT'S NEW app by Sony, It does not even display New things! it shows me old movies, old app, n shht. seriously.

And SONY SELECT app, serously tho that app P*SS me off. That app shows me the worst apps ever and those apps that sony select shows me I don't even like any of those apps sony is recommending me. Please if you guys can't keep What's New and sony select up to date g*d **bleep** just delete them in the next firmware update PLEASE.

you know what dont delete the What's New app just fix the old movies and old apps being showed because I like the app widget on the home screen but the What's New title should be displaying What's coming out newly not what sony is recommending me or showing me old movies, thing on the what's new app.:smileyangry:

To the best of my knowledge, the time of 10 minutes for wifi to sleep after the screen dims is perfectly normal and I don't see any faults there, or any reason why it should be causing you such distress.

As for the "what's new" app, I think you're missing the point somewhat. The don't mean what's new as in just released, it means what's new as in "this is what we are currently going to feature"

1 minute should be the max not 10 minutes! It gives me distress because I have a ps vita and it turns wifi off in just 10 seconds. So why is this $700 technology not amazing me? I'm looking for perfection and Xperia Z2 got none.

And what's new app really? Wow Sony got the wrong name for that what's new app then. It should be in the Sony select app then, not the what's new.
