I wish to highlight a technical problem on my smartphone. When my phone is on sleeping mode the time showing in the status bar does not keep running (as shown in the screen shot attched)

I have download an application with alarm(Muslim Pro -Azan,Quran,Qibla by Bitsmedia Pte Ltd on Playstore). Unfortunately, the alarm does not play at the time (while in in the sleeping mood) it is set, due to the problem I have mentioned above. I have already contact the Bitsmedia Pte Ltd about this problems but the problem continue to persist. I would therefore request you to look this matter nd advice me accordingly.

The internal clock will keep the right time but the time showed will differ untill the screen is turned on and it is refreshed - there would be no point in your phone displaying the time correctly when in sleep mode

How do you explain the fact that soon after I push the button to switch on the screen of the phone for some seconds I observe two different time on the display. The correct time is the one shown by the widget while the time in the status bar do not collate with the real time at that instant. This discrepency is best described on the screenshot attached.

I am very disappointed that such a problem is being encountered with a recent SONY XPERIA smartphone in 2014.

Please do the needful to solve this issue.
