Sony xperia sp won't charge

Hi everyone,

I have had my sony xperia sp for about a year, and suddenly it won't charge. It shows that it should be charging (the battery on the screen shows it should be charging, and the light at the bottom is constantly on). I left it "charging" all night and have woke up to it at 20%. I have restarted it, and it charged until 32% and then stopped...

I am hoping someone can tell me how to fix this!

Force shutdown the device:

Turn it on and charge it.

i've already done this. it charged for a further 2% and then stopped...

Did you try with another charger?

i don't have another charger unfortunately ive restarted the phone several times, and at the moment it is charging as normal... fingers crossed this continues!

the problem would be probably in the cable. i had once encountered with such problem. try charging with another cable.

Either cable or wall socket problems.Or where did you charge it?
