squeaky sound

Hello i need some help for a while now my sony Xperia z1 is making a weird sound while typing it's really annoying it's a squeaky sound no matter on what mode i put it it's still making that sound what do i do?

I am having the same problem! even when I mute off vibrations in the sound settings!!! its like the vibration device touched the speakers and that squeaky sound comes out, HELP!!!!

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

That sounds quite odd. Have you tried to remove the vibration feature for the keyboard? Under settings > language and input > settings icon next to Xperia keyboard > sound and vibrate. 

Does it still have the squeaky sound when you are typing? 

In that case I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:

Thanks for the reply I've put it into safe-mode but it was stille there the squeaky sound what do i do now i really don't want my phone to go to my insurance again i am with Telford and i they repair my phone again t they'll send me a smal low android LG phone what i have to use for the next few weeks

I reeboted in safemode and nothing. all my sound settings have sound and vibration off in the settings options. please help

In that case I suggest that you have your phone examined by a service center. Please contact your local Xperia support team for more information:

You could try to repair the phone software using PC Companion before handing it for service:

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > click on the blue highlight (Repair my phone/tablet). Do this without the phone connected. Follow the instructions on screen to perform the repair.
