water leaked

Hi i bought sony xperia z2 before 2 weeks and before i had xperia Z i never had a problem with it but with xperia z2 only after 2 weeks when i was in vocation i took coupel of pictures and the water leaked inside of it either thought that i closed all the lids and kept closed with my fingers the display just shot down and it became to hot then i tried to turn of but the heat was very very high after some hours it stopt and it didnt work anymore just some tims the light notification turned on and off i am very dissapointed with xperia z2 i send it to the service and when it was opened it was full of rust from the water and the guy said that it cant be fixet i paid for it 600 euros i dont know what to do now or what should i do

 Nothing you can do. Sony's garanty does not include water demage. Thet's apssurd, but it's true. It's happening all the time with waterproof sony phones. My acro S died this way.

Hi, do you know if the Service Centre you took your Z2 to did a VACUUM TEST? This is the best & as far as i am aware the only test to check if your Z2 is infact Waterproof.....always best in these situations where water has obviously entered the Z2 that a Vacuum Test is carried out on the phone before any other work is attempted by the Service Techs.....this way it proves that the flaps are closed & water is gaining ingress elsewhere.
