Xperia s charging problem

Hi, my Xperia S won't charge from the wall socket but will charge off my laptop via USB, has anyone any idea why please? If so any idea how I can rectify this?

It sounds like your phone is fine and the USB lead which leaves the issue with your mains plug or the mains socket - Do you have another mains plug to try/test

I've tried 3 different leads & sockets at work, a number of different sockets at my home & a friends so I'm really puzzled.
