Audio volume concerns

I can hardly hear people talking to me since my last update All audio is set to highest, volume fine with earphone only but far too low on device

hi, most xperia devices have this issue, but its all in how you put the device to your ear. there seems to be a "optimal" position of the earpiece to be able to hear the call best.

 Audio too low regardless of where you place your ear

Like other issues, expensive phone and mediocre sound. A low range phone has much better audio.

true,happened to me after oreo update.but if im calling to my mother in law(s8 plus)the sound is loud and crisp.
