@Danikrkic

There's no recovery mode, there's only safe mode.

How is it that you forgot the pattern that you use everyday multiple times a day?

Hi @Danikrkic, welcome to our forum!

As @uliwooly mentioned, there is no recovery mode in Xperia devices.

Xperia Z5-series is equipped with a protection called Google Device Protection which requires you to verify that you are the owner of the device after resetting it and to do this, a previously added Google account is required.

Are you logged in with your Google account on for example a computer and you know your user name for the Google account at least? If you do, you can just reset the password, but you will need to wait 24 hours after the reset before you are able to use the new password to verify yourself in the device after the reset.

To reset the device, there are two options, but keep in mind that both of them will delete all data stored on the internal storage of the device.

Option number 1 requires a computer and you can with the help of a program that we have called Xperia Companion, repair the software in the device.

Option number 2 is a reset that is done using the Google service called "Find my device". This will require you to login to the same Google account you have on the device on the website below and reset it that way.

I hope that helps!
