PC Companion vs BackupAndRestore app

1. Do they backup the same things?

PC Companion have options: 

- Settings

- Other

And if I dont select Songs Videos Photos, it says it will backup 100kb, but it creates 163mb backup. 

While Backup and Restore have options:

- System settings

Same settings, creates 0.6 mb backup somewhere on phone.

2. Where is backup located, created by Backup and Restore Sony app?

3. Is there a way to backup all possible settings, icons, apps, app data etc all?

3. no, this is an Android limitation.

There are other apps to backup your phone, but you need root access.

@orion310591 A good way to backup app and data seems to be helium, although I have never tried it. And it also doesn't require root access.
