I recently bought my Sony Xperia Z1C about 3 weeks ago. Today, the cover for where the charger goes to has snapped off, therefore my phone is no longer waterproof. I need it to be replaced somehow.
I really need to sort this problem out otherwise there's not much point having this phone due to it not being waterproof.

Hi,
I'm thinking of buying this smartphone and I tried it out in a near retail shop. I noticed that the volume button/trigger had no pressure point like my current mobile, a Galaxy Nexus. Is it common to this device or was it just a bad one?
Best regards,
Crayjin
I'm not sure what you mean but if you're thinking of if you can feel a "click" when you press the volume key. Yes you can on Xperia Z1 Compact. It has a distinct click when you press on volume up or down.

I want to know if the Z1C has any anti-scratch technology in its back. I see a lot of people complainng about scraches in the back...
The back is made of rigid plastic and has no ASF. As far as I know it has no anti-scratch technology on its back.

I have one question and one request
1. Is the new magnetic dock for the Z1 Compact (DK32) compatible with the "Compact Side Opening Book Case" (SMA5140CF)? I noticed the dock comes with an adapter for use when the phone is in a case, but it doesn't explain what case.
2. Please make something like the CP12 (http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/products/accessories/power-cover-cp12/) for the Xperia Z1 Compact!
Yes it comes with an adapter for this but I have no case in particular to suggest here, I think it's more of an generic solution.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's important that you contact your local support team to have this fixed to ensure its water resistant capabilities.
