I think you can buy them and the adds will be removed.That is one option.The other would be installing an add block app from google play.See more here.

I've got a Z1 Compact that I bought SIM Free from Amazon in February 2014 but still haven't received the Jelly Bean Update. At the moment, I am still on the build 14.2.A.1.114 and Android 4.3. I've connected to PC Companion and it keeps saying I'm updated.

Secondly, I can't receive 4G on my Z1 Compact - network 3 and they have said that 4G is available in my area and that it's up to the manufacturer i.e. Sony to release the update - any idea when this is likely to happen?

Hi there,

I have a few questions in regards to some issues I have with the Compact?

1. When smile shutter is activated, the phone regularly wont stop taking photos, even when pointed at the ground. Have to turn off the screen to stop it.

2. Phone takes 10-15 seconds for the screen to come back on when trying to end a phone call. 

Any fixes for these or updates that will target this?

For the first one,try settings-apps-all-camera,force stop and clear data.Check again.

For the second question,do you have a screen protector or a flip case?

And in regards to the phone coming back on,  I dont have a case on it.

Can you test the alarm clock problem. The phone doesnt recognice touch when the alarm is ringin at the MORNING.

It does work fine otherway, but just no in the morning.

I am going to try it myself WITH and WITHOUT stamina on/off mode/mobile data off/on and all sorts of things I can come up.
Because there is LOTS of ppl having the same issue, and not all of them has the possibility to get a new phone.

I've had to change my phone 4 times (the color has been pink) and the problem still persists.

My bf has the same phone from same store, but its black, and no problems there.

With my old phones before this one i tried it without installing any third party apps and it still was there, so it really cant be any app that does it.

Current adroid system is 14.3.A.0.757

Any ideas, or is there already a solutions for this one?

I have Z1 with .757.No problem with the alarm.Tell other user to test.
