Hello Sony and everybody else in this forum...

Here are some questions:

1. I would like to know what is included in the official package of the z1c in detail( earphones, charger etc).

2. Can I use my HDMI connector from my previous xperia S so I can see videos/movies + pics on my TV? And also charge it at the same time if possible.

3. Should I upgrade to 4.4??? Cause I hear A LOT OF PROBLEMS.

4.I don't see any notification light to some apps like I did in my xperia S. I just hear the sound or the vibration. Is this due to the software or to the app that does not support that?

Generally I am very very happy with the phone. (have it for 2 weeks)

Thanks in advance,

Sokin

Today I have discovered 2 bugs. First, the phone screen does not dim when I put it to my ear which used to happen in the previous version. Second, it is no longer possible to go to the call list to text a contact and get the option of selecting watsapp, text, hangout etc.

In case anyone finds any solutions to these problems please do let me know.

Can I change the color of the led [notification] ??

There is no default settings for this, it's usually application dependent but there might be application available on Google Play store that lets you set different colors for different types of notifications.

Hi, why isnt there option to change dialer and settings to black/dark color? is there any way to achive that?

No, not in the default dialer. Perhaps you can find a third party dialer that supports this on Google Play store.

1. The generic contains phone, charger and USB cable. But the packaging may differ between markets and retailers.

2. Xperia Z1 Compact doesn't have any HDMI port but it supports MHL. Connect an MHL adapter such as IM750 to get HDMI capabilities.

3. Issues mentioned here on the forum are forwarded to concerned team and some issues have already a confirmed fix which will be implemented in upcoming software. So stay tuned with the discussions here on our community for the latest news.

4. Depends on which app's we're talking about and how your phone is configured. Please let me know the concerned app's and I might be able to help you.

thanks but I tried
"Light Manager - LED Settings"  and  "LEDBlinker Notifications Lite" from Google Play store
and they failed to co-operate with the Z1 compact

can u plz suggest any other app to do that
Thanks in advance

Johan, There r various apps on google play that allow u to keep different colours for different notifications. Light Flow Lite is a good one.

When i bought z1 compact i noticed a slight gap between aluminium side strip and back panel on both sides.

Is it a manufacturing defect or it is normal.

Dear Johan,
Thanks for your reply.
2. So it doesn't sound good buying 2 extra wires to connect it to any TV( one MHL addapter and a normal HDMI cable).
3. Fortunatelly I don't have any problems yet with the new update. Everything works fine.(Maybe some suggestions-complains but that is another story).
4.About some apps not having a notification light, I think it has been fixed with the 4.4 update.
Best Regards,

I keep missing calls, and today one from my son in distress! Did not think much of earlier, but now I realize the phone is misbehaving. My problem - the ringer volume changes, sound level decreases but the volume indicator in the settings is the same (at highest all the time). I use a system standard melody, the Classic phone and have not enabled any sound enhancement features at all. I have not started any app for playing music or video, just booted phone and use as is. A call or so will have the correct ringer volume, but then other later calls will be missed due to ringer volume very low. I picked up one call because I enabled the vibrator, so the phone is receiving the call but volume/sound is messed up. I am using 4.4.2
