Xperia Z1 does not charge!!!

Hello,

I've already searched for this problem here, but mine is too strange.

I was using my phone normaly and the same day hour before it happens charging in a car charger.

When my battery reached 2% i turned it off and conected to the charger and went sleep, when i get up i tried to turn it on and nothing... no red light flashing, cant recharge and the power + vol up isn't vibrating and no response.. while i write this, its attached by usb in my computer and the companion can't find it either.

anyone can help? i hope that my phone is ok..

Connect the phone directly to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > after 10 seconds release the power & volume up keys, let it charge for 3 hours

If that doesn't work then you must stop by a Sony Xperia Care center

Just like to thank u for your great advised for I was facing the same issue with my phone. I like to add to your reply, I noticed the red charging light came on after a few hours of charging to my relief. I was about to sent my phone to the service center the next day. Since this is the second time I encountered this issue I would to share my experience to resolve this issue. If your phone just ran out of power, totally flat and you plug in to your charger and it don't charge (the red light not light up) press power + vol up for few secound until the red light turn on to indicate the charging has started, continue to charge fully. If your phone power if fully depleted for a few hours then follow "uliwooly" method, it works. Hope it helps.

My phone has the same problem i connect it to the charger then a red solid LED light up and i can not open the phone even if i press the power and the volume up it doesn't vibrate. Once i connect the charger the led lights up and it doesn't take few seconds to light as usual and when i disconnect the charger it goes off immediately. So this is the solution for this problem?

I am facing the same issue with my Xperia z1... today morning it is not getting charged, last night it was with 5% charge and I didn't charge it. Please help me someone.
