I have been facing this problem since last week. I tried resetting the phone using the backup and reset feature. I also tried the Xperia Companion tool. Moreover, I tried draining the battery and then recharging it and then perform the factory reset via the companion tool.
It's needless to say that all of my attempts have been fruitless.
Hi @MrHusni let me see if I can help out here!
Have you tried rebooting your phone in safe mode in order to see whether the behavior persists?
Another thing that you can try removing the SIM card/Try another SIM card on your phone, and then try restarting the phone. If the phone works as intended without a SIM car or with another SIM card, the SIM card might be damaged and in need of replacement. Secondly you could also try to remove the SD card if you have one. If the phone restarts successfully after you remove the SD card, your SD card may be damaged and in need of replacement.
You mentioned that you tried to do software repair using a computer and Xperia Companion, did the repair succeed or not? Keep in mind that since you are not able to access the device, you will need to start the repair without the phone attached to the computer and tick the "My device cannot be detected or started, or is a Smartwatch 3" checkbox. After that you should be able to follow the instructions in Xperia Companion provided that the phone has at least 50% battery left.
Try this and let me know how it goes!

try seaching Boot Loop on the search bar above
I have tried removing the SIM card and the loop stopped. So, I went and got a new SIM card but the same thing happened. I don't know what to do anymore. I really like my Xperia Z5 and I don't want to change it, but it's so frustrating.
Hi again, @MrHusni!
In that case, try to repair the software on the phone using Xperia Companion and a computer. Keep in mind though that a software repair will erase all user data from the phone, so it is advised to do a backup before the repair in order to prevent data loss.
If the rebooting persists after the software repair, the best thing to do is to get in contact with your local support team in order to have the phone sen to an authorized service center for checkup and repair. If you have any questions regarding the service such as service routines, warranty and consumer laws, these kind of questions are best answered by your local support team as well.
I hope that helped!
