pointer problem

Hi all,
New here. Can you help me with a problem?
Back clicks are performed ocassionally when just moving the pointer, ie without pressing the left hand buton or being over the back arrow. How do I over come this? Is it a trackpad problem or is it a settings problem? eg. I had to type this twice because I had to move the pointer to make a correction and it moved back a page and lost my post !!! Agh.

welcome to Club VAIO..

Does this only happen when viewing web pages.?

If so your set-up may be slightly different but this may help..

Click on Start, then click on Control Panel.

In control Panel, under Hardware and Sound, select Mouse.

In the Mouse Properties window select the Function tab.

In the Function tab deselect Use Web Assistant.

Does that help with the Touchpad problem.?
