Screen
It would be nice if in an update to Xperia 1 II to make it so that you use the screen outdoors as well, it is almost impossible to see anything on it even if it is screwed all the way up on a cloudy day with light clouds

Check the brightness of your screen. As I know Xperia 1 II have 540 cd/m².
If is not enough for you to see the screen when you're on max brightness, I dont think that any software can outpass hardware limit. Sorry.

There is a way to bypass the max screen brightness and this trick works on the original xperia 1 also.
When outside in bright sunlight........
TURN ADAPTIVE BRIGHTNESS
This actually brightens the screen MORE than the actual brightness slider allows.
