Xperia 1 ii Shutter Button Burst Shot
When I use the stock android camera app, each time i click the Shutter button, 2 photos are captured. The burst mode is on and it takes 2 shots without holding the button pressed.
If I try the same on the camera pro app them 1 shot is taken normally and burst shots are taken only if hold down the button (exactly as the burst mode should work normally)
It looks like the stock Android camera app is not functioning properly with the Shutter button.
Does anyome else experience the same?

Check if there's an update available for the app, if not, try to disable and re-enable the app from settings, get to apps and notifications from the list of apps, choose it and disable.

@CosmicTomato Hello, I tried that but still the same behavior.
Also tried to clear the cache and the app data.
Do you experience the same thing?

I didn't have the same issue and not the same phone, but when the camera app got glitchy or slower than it should, I disabled and cleared the apps cache, freeing its space and that usually did the trick.
I searched the burst mode feature in the Xperia 1 II and found an article, saying that it only works with one camera and in Photography Pro app only. here it is, hope this gives you any leads on how to work it. https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/articles/00246275

@CosmicTomato hello.
I know how to use the burst mode.
The issue appears only on the normal camera app and not the pro app.
It looks more like a glitch/bug.
I just wanted to confirm if any other users experience the same or if it an issue with the shutter button of my device.

That's relatable, Can you try and force stop the app and check again? and check the camera test in the Support app too.

Still the same behavior.
The Camera app is the issue.
Shutter key test and camera test from Sony's test app in settings were passed successfully.

Check if you can update the app if available, I think there are no further options now, except for factory resetting the device. make sure to have a full backup before you try this, if you will.

No updates available.
No reason for reset. The shutter button looks to be functioning properly with other apps.
So reset the device for what reason?!

hmm well idk this is an odd solitary bug, and these are all the steps I know and have tried personally, when faced with system issues. Just thought it might help, you don't Have to do it of course.
